U12.5 All County Shield Tournament 2019

Really well done to our u12s who played some brilliant football today in the semi final of the County Shield in the Athletic Grounds against Culloville.
We asked them for three things today;

  • To try their best
  • To move the ball fast
  • Have fun and enjoy the day representing our club on our county’s pitch.

They absolutely emptied themselves, were undoubtedly the best team (totally unbiased opinion of course), took some great scores and were a joy to watch.
Unfortunately, and although we scored more times, in the end we lost out to suckerpunch goals that made a huge difference.
Culloville actually went on to win the Shield Final against Mullaghbawn.

Pearse Ogs are provisionally confirmed for Wednesday at 7pm in Grange. We will confirm that as soon as we can.
Any players that didn’t have an opportunity to make an impact today will play a main part in this next game.

Thanks to everyone who came along to support the players today. You made huge noise throughout and it really helped the players during the match.

Well done and hard luck Grange. #AnGhráinseachabú
